Who are Pinot & Picasso? Meet the Team!

Pinot & Picasso HQ
With the year that we’ve had, you might not believe that our team has doubled in size. However, it is an incredible reality for our company and we definitely don’t take it lightly.

With not only studio growth and company expansion into New Zealand, we needed to add more beautiful people to our team but we wouldn’t have it any other way!

Pinot & Picasso HQ has transformed into a place where we’re stoked to come into work every day and help bring awareness to our brand and franchisees – I swear I’m saying this on my own and haven’t been told to say this!

It’s a common term said about workplaces, but Pinot & Picasso HQ really is a well-oiled machine. Here’s how:

Marketing is all in-house

One of the biggest decisions we made in 2021 was to bring all aspects of marketing – social media, digital marketing & PR – into one united space. This has allowed us to have full control in these areas but more importantly, we can dedicate so much more of our time to franchisees. We now have 3 full-time employees who devote themselves to building the brand and supporting our franchisees. Our Marketing Team also works very closely with our Creative Team which adds even more strings to our bow and has seen some incredible benefits.

Creative delivers

Speaking of our Creative Team, they continue to deliver top-tier artworks for all types of Picasso’s! This really is one of the reasons customers come to our studios time and time again. With new concepts and ideas bouncing around the walls at HQ, it’s important to keep innovating our studio experience each year. We also give artists from studios across the country a chance to submit their artwork ideas that could be a part of our Artwork Gallery.

The Engine Room has doubled

The team that keeps this machine ticking over has doubled in less than a year. From Franchisee Relations, virtual functions, customer experience, and company store management, this group helps with day-to-day operations and assists our franchisees in becoming the best studio owners they can be!

More training and webinars

With studios continuing to open throughout 2021, we’ve added more training sessions and hosted more webinars to offer more information and support to our franchisees. During lockdown, we thought it was a real opportunity to enhance our studio owners’ knowledge and keep them in the business frame of mind despite not operating. We enhanced their understanding of paid ads & social media trends, pop-ups, preparing for Christmas, and new IT changes. This is something we couldn’t have pulled off without the team we have today!

Have we mentioned New Zealand?

Okay, we might have mentioned NZ once or twice! One of our biggest achievements in 2021 was bringing our unique paint & sip experience across the Tasman to our Kiwi neighbours. We have an amazing Head of NZ Relations (she’s a boss lady and you’ll know why when you meet her!) and an NZ Business Development Manager on the ground to assist our studios. It’s a team that we have no doubt we’ll be saying has tripled (or more!) in the next 12 months.

Sweet As! Our New Zealand Artworks!

ICYMI, we’re celebrating our expansion into New Zealand with our brand new artwork collection that we’re sure Kiwis will aroha!  With iconic NZ locations and creatures featured in the collection, these artworks are perfect for curing your travel FOMO or get you booking your next flight to NZ!

Kiwi Be Friends

Kirihimete

Tui Time

Kiwi Crossing

Mt Ruapehu

CHUR BRO! HOW GOOD ARE THESE ARTWORKS!

We’re embracing the beautiful animals of NZ – birds to be specific! Look out – Kiwi’s about! The NZ national bird is recognisable anywhere with our Kiwi Be Friends and Kiwi Crossing! We haven’t forgotten about another boisterous native flyer with Tui Time.

We couldn’t have made an NZ Collection without any artwork that showcases the beauty of their landscape. North Island stratovolcano Mt Ruapehu is a sight to behold! From the mountains to the sea, Kirihimete highlights a beautiful NZ beach scene and doubles as a Christmas artwork!

Pinot & Picasso has landed in New Zealand!

It’s time to share some news to your pals in NZ… Pinot & Picasso is going INTERNATIONAL! We are bringing our iconic Paint & Sip experience across the ditch to NEW ZEALAND!

We could not be more excited about this giant step for our company! We really think our Kiwi neighbours are going to LOVE this experience just as much as our Aussies do!

We are opening THREE new studios in NZ next month! We’re excited to be operating in the amazing locations of Hutt Valley, Albany & Parnell! We are hoping to have almost 10 NZ studios serving up our incredible paint & sip experience by the end of this year!
