With the year that we’ve had, you might not believe that our team has doubled in size. However, it is an incredible reality for our company and we definitely don’t take it lightly.
With not only studio growth and company expansion into New Zealand, we needed to add more beautiful people to our team but we wouldn’t have it any other way!
Pinot & Picasso HQ has transformed into a place where we’re stoked to come into work every day and help bring awareness to our brand and franchisees – I swear I’m saying this on my own and haven’t been told to say this!Â
It’s a common term said about workplaces, but Pinot & Picasso HQ really is a well-oiled machine. Here’s how:Â
Â
Marketing is all in-house
One of the biggest decisions we made in 2021 was to bring all aspects of marketing – social media, digital marketing & PR – into one united space. This has allowed us to have full control in these areas but more importantly, we can dedicate so much more of our time to franchisees. We now have 3 full-time employees who devote themselves to building the brand and supporting our franchisees. Our Marketing Team also works very closely with our Creative Team which adds even more strings to our bow and has seen some incredible benefits.Â
Â
Creative delivers
Speaking of our Creative Team, they continue to deliver top-tier artworks for all types of Picasso’s! This really is one of the reasons customers come to our studios time and time again. With new concepts and ideas bouncing around the walls at HQ, it’s important to keep innovating our studio experience each year. We also give artists from studios across the country a chance to submit their artwork ideas that could be a part of our Artwork Gallery.
Â
The Engine Room has doubled
The team that keeps this machine ticking over has doubled in less than a year. From Franchisee Relations, virtual functions, customer experience, and company store management, this group helps with day-to-day operations and assists our franchisees in becoming the best studio owners they can be!Â
Â
More training and webinars
With studios continuing to open throughout 2021, we’ve added more training sessions and hosted more webinars to offer more information and support to our franchisees. During lockdown, we thought it was a real opportunity to enhance our studio owners’ knowledge and keep them in the business frame of mind despite not operating. We enhanced their understanding of paid ads & social media trends, pop-ups, preparing for Christmas, and new IT changes. This is something we couldn’t have pulled off without the team we have today!
Â
Have we mentioned New Zealand?
Okay, we might have mentioned NZ once or twice! One of our biggest achievements in 2021 was bringing our unique paint & sip experience across the Tasman to our Kiwi neighbours. We have an amazing Head of NZ Relations (she’s a boss lady and you’ll know why when you meet her!) and an NZ Business Development Manager on the ground to assist our studios. It’s a team that we have no doubt we’ll be saying has tripled (or more!) in the next 12 months.
