The Pinot & Picasso Booze Guide

Pinot & Picasso Booze Guide
Want to know what drinks you should bring to your Pinot & Picasso session? There is absolutely NO wrong answer to this! There is booze for every mood!

While everybody has different tastes but we’re here to offer some tips & ideas. Here is a bit of a guide to help you decide what you’d like to bring to your Pinot & Picasso session!

WINE

Wine not?! It’s in the name, but you don’t have to restrict yourself to a glass of Pinot, or wine in general. However, wine is our most popular drip of choice.

Whether you’re celebrating an occasion or just enjoying a night out, sparkling wine will never look out of place at Pinot & Picasso. Pop a bottle of your favourite Champagne or other sparkling wine like Prosecco or Cava.

For those who are newbies, we recommend easing into the world of wine with some crisp and semi-sweet whites like a Moscato, Pinot Grigio or a Sav Blanc. For those who want to dip their toe into red wine, we suggest a Pinot Noir or a Beaujolais Nouveau (fancy!)

If you are attending Pinot & Picasso in the warmer seasons, a Rosé is a perfect summer drink. It is a great wine to have for those early sessions. It also pairs well with a variety of different foods, which puts it a level above just red & white wines.

BEER

Put your male partners at ease… they CAN get on the beers at Pinot & Picasso! Often people stick to the beer they’ve been drinking for years, so here is some advice on what type of beer to drink according to the season:

In colder weather, darker and medium to full-bodied beers will be your alcohol blanket. These type of beers are often brewed with spices, herbs & fruits. Try an IPA, Old Ales, Mild Ales, or a Stout.

In the warmer seasons, light to medium-bodied beers is your go-to. You want beers that can be served cold without completely numbing your palate. Try a Pale Ale, Summer Ale, or a Lager.

Many craft breweries like to produce different beers throughout the year. Here are some recommended Aussie beers: Young Henry’s, Balter, 4 Pines, Coopers.

Ciders are also a good summer alternative for beer! Somersby, Strongbow & Rekorderlig have some great flavours to choose from.

PRE-MIXED DRINKS

If spirits are your preference, you can bring some pre-mixed drinks to our studios. Whether you like a clear spirit like Vodka or Gin or have an acquired taste for Bourbon or Whiskey – there are so many options out there for you!

This doesn’t mean bringing in a full bottle of straight rum with you to our studio. It’s gotta be pre-mixed – easier for you and our hosts. Many of the big brands like Smirnoff, Gordon’s, Jack Daniels & Jim Beam have RTD cans in 4-6 packs ready for any occasion.

Ultimately, it’s entirely up to you and what you’d like to drink at our studios. We hope this guide steers you in the right direction (most likely the bottle shop!). We’ve also got you covered with glasses, so when we say you bring just the drinks, we mean it! We look forward to seeing you in a Pinot & Picasso studios soon. Cheers!

Introducing Mumdala!

P&P Mothers Day
This year for Mother’s Day, the Pinot & Picasso team have created another combined canvas artwork to create our very own Mum-dala!

A Mandala starts at the core, and expands out to develop into something truly beautiful, much like our relationship with our mothers.

What we love most about this artwork is how it able to thrive exquisitely on its own, but becomes an even greater, complex and stunning artwork when combined! As with all of our paintings, we allow for creativity and design to run free. Participants can paint their backgrounds any colour, and the Mandala design is able to be tailored in any way wish!

Our Mumdala artwork will debut in all studios across the Mother’s Day weekend. The best thing about this combined canvas is that it can be tailored for groups of two, three and four!

These sessions are now live on our P&P calendars! If you’d like to treat your mum this Mother’s Day, be sure to organise yourselves quickly – we think these sessions will sell out fast!

Studio Growth Soaring in 2021

P&P Franchising

We’re only eight weeks into the new year and we’ve got studios opening all across the country!

We launched our 36th studio in the lovely town of Orange at the end of January. We’ve got our 37th and 38th studios, Wetherill Park and Surry Hills, opening their doors over the next two weekends.

We’ll be looking to crack the big 4-0 next month with several studios coming very, very soon – including Canley Vale, Wagga Wagga, Dubbo, Noosa and Yarraville.

It’s been super rewarding to see the Pinot & Picasso brand expand in 2020, and we’re already chuffed with the growth in 2021!

We still have plenty of high-value locations available for franchising. While NSW is sold out, there is plenty of opportunities to open a P&P studio interstate.

If you’d like to find out more about our studios, locations available or territories – please book a call with us today!

Looking Back at 2020

P&P 2020

It’s been a wild year here at Pinot & Picasso (as it’s been for most!), but we’re slowly winding down for the Christmas season giving well-needed breathing room to reflect on the year that was. It’d be an understatement to say that it’s been a landmark year.

2020 will go down in history for a number of reasons – the COVID-19 pandemic being the focus for many of us, the bushfires that devastated our beautiful country for another, but for the Pinot & Picasso team – it’s been one of growth and brand development.

OUR BIG MOMENTS IN 2020

  • THE ART BOX – We pivoted through the lockdowns to bring a virtual Pinot & Picasso experience into our customers homes FREE of charge. We delivered these fun lessons through complimentary Facebook Live P&P sessions and reached over a quarter of a million people nationwide!

  • THE CREATIVE KIDS ART BOX – Through the success of the Art Box product, we launched the Creative Kids Art Box in November. This allowed NSW parents to claim a $100 Creative Kids Voucher and use it towards this great product. In the space of a month, we sold around 1700 boxes!

  • 23 BRAND NEW STUDIOS – We started 2020 with 12 studios across the country. Our studio numbers tripled throughout the year and we finish 2020 with 37 trading locations across NSW, QLD, VIC and the ACT!

  • SOLD OUT IN NSW METRO – As new studios began to open, we sold out completely in the NSW Metro area. We reached agreements in the final available territories at the end of this year which is a massive achievement. We’re now turning our focus to some amazing interstate locations!

On behalf of the Pinot & Picasso team, we’re incredibly grateful for your support this year. We hope you have a very Merry Christmas and we’ll see you in 2021 for bigger and better things!
