Looking Back at 2020

It’s been a wild year here at Pinot & Picasso (as it’s been for most!), but we’re slowly winding down for the Christmas season giving well-needed breathing room to reflect on the year that was. It’d be an understatement to say that it’s been a landmark year.

2020 will go down in history for a number of reasons – the COVID-19 pandemic being the focus for many of us, the bushfires that devastated our beautiful country for another, but for the Pinot & Picasso team – it’s been one of growth and brand development. 

OUR BIG MOMENTS IN 2020

  • THE ART BOX – We pivoted through the lockdowns to bring a virtual Pinot & Picasso experience into our customers homes FREE of charge. We delivered these fun lessons through complimentary Facebook Live P&P sessions and reached over a quarter of a million people nationwide!

 

  • THE CREATIVE KIDS ART BOX – Through the success of the Art Box product, we launched the Creative Kids Art Box in November. This allowed NSW parents to claim a $100 Creative Kids Voucher and use it towards this great product. In the space of a month, we sold around 1700 boxes!

 

  • 23 BRAND NEW STUDIOS – We started 2020 with 12 studios across the country. Our studio numbers tripled throughout the year and we finish 2020 with 37 trading locations across NSW, QLD, VIC and the ACT! 

 

  • SOLD OUT IN NSW METRO – As new studios began to open, we sold out completely in the NSW Metro area. We reached agreements in the final available territories at the end of this year which is a massive achievement. We’re now turning our focus to some amazing interstate locations!
